New Way to View Download Data Now Available

This page includes information about modifications and enhancements to the knowledge center service, Candid’s institutional repository solution for the social sector.
You might notice a new icon in your set of content edit tools. Mouseover it and you’ll see a small window that supplies a lot of insight about how your downloadable content is performing.
You can now access click counts showing how many times a particular title has been downloaded not only from IssueLab’s site at www.issuelab.org, but also from IssueLab’s local distribution network which includes IssueLab’s Special Collections and hosted partner Knowledge Centers. The data you have access to is supplied by IssueLab’s Google Analytics account. The numbers refer to how many times your downloadable content was accessed from IssueLab’s file server or how many times a link leading to your downloadable content was clicked.
If you have a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) supplied by IssueLab your DOI click data will also be included as the last item in the downloads window. DOI statistics are supplied by CrossRef, the organization we partner with to issue and maintain DOIs, on a monthly basis. More about DOI click data is available.
